Communities, businesses and residents in the London area are getting the chance to speak up on the region’s infrastructure needs and priorities.

The province is developing a long-term plan to build roads, bridges, transit, hospitals and schools.

A roundtable consultation meeting is being held in London on Wednesday.

“It's important that people from communities across southwestern Ontario ‎will have the opportunity to prioritize infrastructure needs through the Moving Ontario Forward consultation process,” says London MPP Deb Matthews. “We want to hear from you to ensure we get these significant investments right.”

Officials say feedback provided will inform the province when determining how to allocate the remaining $11.5 billion of a $15 billion investment outside the Greater Toronto and Hamilton Area as part of Moving Ontario Forward.

This funding is part of the largest infrastructure investment in Ontario's history -- more than $130 billion over 10 years.

Ontarians can also provide feedback online or in writing by Sept. 18, 2015.
