Weeks after community mailboxes were installed in parts of London, it seems some are still some issues.

At one townhouse complex in the Blackacres neighbourhood, residents are getting frustrated over continuous mail mix-ups.

Some residents can't access their mailboxes, others are finding mail discarded on the ground and people are still getting the wrong mail.

Over the last couple of weeks Tom Norman and his wife Connie Woods have made it part of their routine to hand deliver other people's mail they're receiving, and what they pick up on the ground.

Woods says, "I've delivered next door to us, I've delivered to the front townhouses, anywhere that it shows up I take it to them."

They're also wondering if someone else is getting their mail.

Norman says, "I do want to pay my bills on time, but I haven't received my mail. I've been having to call utility companies to find out what I owe on my bill - my hydro. We're receiving plenty of mail in our box, just not ours."

Carla Little is having issues too, but she can't even access the mailbox to see if there is any mail.

"You know the key could be off by just a little bit," she says. "This is the second time I've tried. I sent my boyfriend to try and he's like, 'Oh, it works," but clearly it doesn't work so he must have had either a trick or had the wrong box altogether and just wanted to say it worked."

Norman brought some mail to Brenda Lee's address, but it was for a former tenant.

Lee's problem? She can't send it back because the mail slot in the community mailbox was still sealed shut.

For his part Norman hopes his neighbours would do the same for him if they get his mail.

CTV News contacted Canada Post about the issues and received a statement that read, "We apologize for any inconvenience.

"Any concerns people have with their mail delivery should be brought to the attention of our customer service line so that we can take action."
