Police have seized marijuana plants worth $121,000 and two prohibited weapons from a house in London.

Members of the London police guns and drugs section charged one adult and one young offender after executing a search warrant  at the Hewitt Street residence on Thursday.

Police seized 121 marijuana plants, 23 grams of marijuana bud worth $230, one hydromorphone pill worth $20, a butterfly knife, a Taser, 386 rounds of various ammunition and $130 in cash.

A 47-year-old man was arrested without incident.  He and a male young offender are being charged with the following offences:

  • Two counts of possession of prohibited weapon, knowing its possession is unauthorized
  • Unlawfully possess Schedule I substance
  • Possess Schedule II substance for trafficking
  • Unlawfully produce Schedule II substance

The young offender was not located and a warrant has been prepared for his arrest.
