London police have released results for a four-day blitz targeting distracted driving and seat belt violations.

Officers conducted the initiative between March 21 and March 24.

Police issued 147 provincial offence notices, 48 compliance notices and 38 warnings.

Distracted driving accounted for 87 of the offence notices and 12 of the warnings.

Seat belt violations accounted for 33 of the notices and five of the warnings.

In 2014, there were almost 2,500 violations identified involving distracted driving in London.
