London Police are investigating an alleged spree of assaults in a northeast London neighbourhood.

On Sunday, May 29th, 2016 at 6:49 a.m., police were called to a home on Fleming Drive after a man reported that he had been bitten by another man that he knew. The suspect fled on foot before police arrived.

Police say the same suspect tried to stab a man in front of a neighbouring residence, before moving on to another home where he allegedly stabbed a second male outside and then assaulted a female. The suspect and the three victims did not know each other.

Police arrested the suspect in front of a nearby home. He remains in custody and there are no other suspects outstanding.

The victim who was stabbed sustained non life-threatening injuries. None of the other victims required medical treatment.

A knife was located at the scene and the investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information in relation to this incident is asked to call the London Police at (519) 661-5670 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477). Information can also be sent in on-line anonymously to www.londoncrimestoppers.com.
