There was a plethora of pups at the Plunkett Estate Saturday, as an estimated crowd of 25,000 people took in the 7th annual edition of Pawlooza.

The dog-based festival features local rescue groups, pet-industry vendors and everything else canine.

Pawlooza takes place every year on International Homeless Animal Day.

One of the main focuses of Pawlooza is to educate the public about the country's homeless pet epidemic.

Officials are asking people to adopt, rather than buy their next dog.
