The annual Warriors’ Day parade held Saturday, celebrated the 60th anniversary of the Korean War Armistice.

The parade, which is held during the Western Fair, remembers the contributions and sacrifices made by Canadians.

The parade also honoured the Royal Canadian Navy.

Every year, hundreds of volunteers, veterans, members of Canada’s Armed Forces and contingents from allied nations work together to hold the parade.

People along the route showed their appreciation and support of the veterans as they marched.

Official ceremonies were held following the parade at the Western Fair grandstand.

The parade has been held for 62 years.
