One man is in hospital following an alleged assault early Saturday.
Oxford OPP were called to Broadway and Venison Streets in Tillsonburg for reports of a person in medical distress around 2:45 a.m.
Police found a male they say had been assaulted and he was rushed to hospital. The man’s medical condition has been upgraded to non-life threatening.
Traffic in the area was briefly restricted.
Police say there are no concerns for public safety but the Oxford County Crime Unit and the OPP Forensic Identification Section are investigating.
