Huron OPP are asking for the public's help following a case of arson in Clinton.

Just before 2 a.m. Sunday Aug. 28, emergency crews were called to an apartment on Albert Street between Ontario Street & Rattenbury Street East.

A two-storey, yellow-brick building built in the 1880s sustained significant damage.

A damage estimate hasn't been determined yet.

Crews had to return to the scene during the early morning hours on both Aug. 29 and Aug. 30 for additional small fires.

Investigators think at least one of the subsequent fires was set intentionally.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Huron County OPP Crime Unit at (519) 524-8314 or 1-888-310-1122.
