OPP have reopened the westbound lanes of Highway 401 near Woodstock after a crash involving three vehicles, one of them a transport truck.

It happened around 12:15 p.m. near Norwich Avenue.

The highway was closed at Towerline Road and traffic was rerouted through the city of Woodstock.

Police say the chain reaction collision began with reports of a pick-up truck changing lanes abruptly.

This caused a Chevrolet sedan to swerve into the middle lane to avoid a collision. The car then lost control and entered the third lane and struck a transport truck and trailer.

OPP say no one was seriously hurt.

The male driver of the pick-up truck did not stop at the scene and kept driving westbound.

The truck is described as either black or brown, possibly a Chevrolet Silverado or Colorado, and had a black All-Terrain Vehicle (ATV) covered in dirt with mud tires on it in the truck bed.

If you information about the truck or the crash, contact OPP at 1-888-310-112.
