A 15-year-old boy was charged with impaired driving after a single-vehicle crash in Glencoe on Friday.

Middlesex County OPP were called to the crash at 6 a.m.

Police say a grey Toyota SUV had struck a commercial building in the 100 block of Symes Street.

There was no damage to the building.

Officers subsequently located the driver, a 15-year-old male, and police say that he had been drinking alcohol. 

He was arrested, and transported to a Middlesex County OPP detachment for breath testing.

The youth, from South West Middlesex,  has been charged with driving while ability impaired by alcohol, driving with more than 80 mgs of alcohol in blood, possession of property obtained by crime under $5000, and resisting a peace officer.

The accused was released on a promise to appear and is scheduled to appear in a London court to answer to the charges.
