CENTRAL HURON, Ont. - Police say a 12-year-old boy will appear in court in Goderich, Ont., to face charges of driving an off-road vehicle on a highway and failing to stop for a stop sign.

Ontario Provincial Police say officers busted the adolescent on June 23 after he allegedly failed to stop a John Deere utility vehicle at an intersection.

That's when police determined the driver and his passenger were both 12-year-olds.

Police note drivers must be at least 16 years old and hold a valid licence to drive an off-road vehicle on a highway in Ontario.
