Norfolk OPP are asking for the public’s help in identifying a suspect in an alleged attempted theft.

Around 1:30 p.m. on Sunday, May 24, 2015 police responded to a report of a theft at the Real Canadian Superstore on Queensway East, Simcoe in Norfolk County.

Police say a female entered the store and removed a television set from the electronics section; she then proceeded to leave the store without paying. According to police she fled when members of the store’s Loss Prevention team approached. The television was recovered but she fled with an unknown male in a dark coloured vehicle.

Police have released photos of the female suspect taken from security footage.

She is described as white, between the ages of 25 and 35, medium build, 5’4, blonde hair with black coloured, black coloured head band, light blue coloured eyes. She has scarring on upper shoulder and upper back,  wearing a cream coloured shirt, blue jeans, high platform shoes, and carrying a large black purse/bag.
