OPP have released the name of a pedestrian killed at an intersection in Delhi last Thursday.

Nancy Chartrand, 68, of Norfolk County, died of her injuries in a Hamilton hospital after being struck by a pickup truck on Main Street.

Police say Chartrand was walking northbound on the sidewalk and was in the process of crossing the roadway at the intersection of Main Street and King Street when she was struck.

The driver of the truck, a 44-year-old male of Kingston, Jamaica was travelling southbound on Main Street and was turning eastbound onto King Street when the collision occurred at about 7:30 p.m.

The investigation is continuing and OPP say charges are pending.
