Oxford County OPP have laid charges after a motorcycle was seen travelling at nearly triple the speed limit in Tillsonburg.

Provincial police say the motocycle was travelling on Rokeby Side Road on Saturday, when it was clocked between 139 km/h and 149 km/h in a 50 km/h zone.

As a result, 31-year-old Abe Epp of Courtland has been charged with racing a motor vehicle and driving a motor vehicle with an improper licence.

 

The vehicle has been impounded for seven days and the man's driver’s licence was suspended for seven days.
