The Snowbirds will perform an airshow in Stratford next month for a good cause.

The show is set for Sept. 10 at the Stratford Municipal Airport.

The Snowbirds are Canada's military aerobatics or air show flight demonstration team. The show team flies 11 CT-114 Tutors.

“We are so pleased to have this opportunity to bring back these talented pilots to Stratford and raise money for these

worthwhile organizations”, says Craig Wesson, a Stratford Police Association and committee member.

“Funds will be divided between the United Way Perth-Huron, the Stratford Fire Association and the Stratford Police Association.

A paid dinner is also planned on Sept. 9 to give the public a chance to meet members of the Snowbirds.

Tickets for the airshow are $13 for adults in advance ($17 at the gate) and $3 for children under 12.

Gates will open at 2 p.m. and there will be a musical performance by Trent Severn, a trio comprised of Emm Gryner, Dayna Manning and Laura C. Bates.

The Snowbirds will begin their demonstration at 5 p.m.
