Motorists trying to cross the border in Sarnia Tuesday morning faced long delays after a transport truck rear-ended three other transports.

The 402 westbound has partially re-opened at Modeland Road as a result of the collision.

Two of the three WB lanes are now open.

Photos from the scene show transports on their sides and extensive damage and debris to be cleaned up.

OPP say there were minor injuries in the crash but did not say to which drivers.

A 27 year-old man from St. Leonard, Quebec has been charged with careless driving.

Commercial and recreational traffic can expect delays while attempting access to the 402 between Modeland Road and the Bluewater Bridge.

Crews remain on scene for the clean up. Motorists are being asked to be cautious while driving through the area.

This crash comes just six days after three transports collided in Sarnia claiming the life of an American driver.
