A mix of snow, ice pellets, freezing rain, rain and drizzle hit much of southwestern Ontario on Tuesday leaving many frustrated.

A freezing rain warning was in place for much of the day from Windsor-Essex and Sarnia-Lambton all the way over to London-Middlesex, Elgin and Oxford, among other areas.

A low pressure system brought snow early in the day, then ice pellets, freezing rain and drizzle as the system moved east and temperatures rose.

In London, many digging out yet again expressed their frustrations with the continuing winter weather.

Meanwhile city salt trucks were out trying to deal with the ice and sleet.

Both motorists and pedestrians are being warned that surfaces could be icy and slippery and OPP are reminding drivers to change their habits based on the weather conditions,
