Middlesex OPP officers were on the lookout for impaired drivers over the weekend.

Four people were arrested in separate cases.

The first incident was Friday at 7:09 p.m. Police responded to a call that a blue Ford Escape SUV that was seen in the ditch off Fairview Road in Thames Centre.

Police say the driver was found in the vehicle sleeping. The vehicle had minor damage and the driver had been drinking, according to police.

Michael Fallowfield, 27, of Ingersoll, was arrested and taken to the OPP detachment for further tests. He was charged with impaired operation of a motor vehicle and exceeding 80 milligrams of alcohol.

Three other people were arrested for impaired driving on Sunday.

Laura Shaw, 28, of London, Marilyn Prefontaine, 56 of London, and Lonny Enns, 26 of Aylmer, are all facing charges.
