A 61-year-old man is in hospital and a female has been charged with aggravated assault after police were called to a Kipps Lane apartment Wednesday.
Members of the London police forensic identification unit were inside a main floor apartment at 740 Kipps Lane Wednesday afternoon.
Police say the male and the 54-year-old female were acquaintances.
Traditional weapons were not used, but rather "weapons of convenience" from inside the apartment, says Const. Jacquie Edwards.
The female remains in police custody and the investigation continues.
