SARNIA, Ont. - A 22-year-old man is facing charges after a fatal hit-and-run in Sarnia, Ont.

Police in Sarnia say the collision happened Friday at about 11:15 p.m., when a vehicle hit a pedestrian.

Investigators had been looking for a dark-coloured SUV with damage to the front.

The 22-year-old man turned himself in to police Sunday and was charged with criminal negligence causing death and failing to remain at the scene.

Investigators are also asking for the public's help in finding a Samsung Galaxy cellphone discarded in the area east of Indian Road and Hickory Street.
