Perth County OPP say a 76-year-old man has died after the motor home he was working on fell on top of him.
Emergency crews were called to a home on Line 21 near Cromarty, west of Mitchell, shortly after 1 p.m. on Monday.
That's where, police say, a man was found trapped underneath a recreational vehicle (RV).
According to investigators, one of the jacks used to raise the RV while the male was working underneath gave way, pinning him.
Emergency personnel freed the man and administered medical aid, but were unable to save him.
Duncan Scott of West Perth was pronounced dead in hospital.
