A 24 year old man is facing several charges after a weapons incident in the west end of the city.

On Saturday around 3:30 p.m., a family of five were riding bicycles in the area of Fanshawe Park Road and Hyde Park Road.

That's when an argument ensued with a motorist and the father of the family.

The motorist flashed a handgun but was eventually disarmed.

The gun turned out to be a pellet gun.

London Police are reminding residents that despite the fact these types of guns are legal to possess, criminal charges could be laid if used improperly.
