A 67 year old Grey County woman is safe after being lost while out on a hike.
Around 10:19 p.m. on Sunday, OPP received a report of a missing person after a woman failed to return home from walking her pet dog.
She left her home on South Bass Lake Road in the Township of Georgian Bluffs around 7:00 p.m. but when she didn’t come home, her husband called police.
A search ensued and she was found the next day around 7:00 a.m. on the Bruce Trail in good health.
She was roughly 3 to 5 km away from her home.
Police say she was found easily by remaining in one spot and waiting for help once she realized she was lost.
