Longtime London Knights trainer Don Brankley passes away

It's a sad day for the London Knights organization as longtime trainer Don Brankley has passed away.
He was 69.
Nicknamed “Branks”, Brankley worked as a trainer with the Knights for 38 years.
Brankley first started with the Knights in 1970 and worked for them until 2008.
He worked with some of the biggest names in the OHL and eventually the NHL including, Pat Kane, Brandon Prust, Corey Perry, Brendan Shanahan, Rick Nash and Dino Ciccarelli.
Brankley was a member of the 2005 Memorial Cup Championship team and has a banner hanging up in the rafters at Budweiser Gardens.
