The London Police Service is warning those planning to gather in Victoria Park on Saturday that they will charge anyone found in possession of marijuana.
April 20th at 4:20 p.m. is globally observed as a celebration among those involved in cannabis culture.
In London, supporters have traditionally gathered in Victoria Park to mark the occasion.
But police are reminding the public that the possession of any amount of marijuana is a criminal offence in Canada.
In a statement, police said they will be present in Victoria Park and “Anyone found violating the law will be charged accordingly.”
