London police are investigating a road rage incident that left one man with serious injuries.

Shortly after 11:15 a.m. Wednesday, a verbal exchange took place between a man operating an e-bike and a man in a vehicle.

Police say the e-bike driver kicked the side of the victim's vehicle.

The victim got out to check for damage and was then punched by the suspect.

The suspect fled eastbound on Oxford Street.

He is described as a white man, with tanned skin, approximately 5'11, 35 years old, 200 lbs.

He has a muscular build with tattoos on his arms, and short blond hair.

The man was wearing a light blue t-shirt with dark coloured shorts that went past his knees, and a black helmet.

The e-bike had a red sticker on the back that read, "I Love Tim Hortons".

The victim was taken to hospital in an ambulance with serious injuries.
