A 28-year-old London man is facing a number of charges in connection with a robbery at an Adelaide Street pharmacy earlier this month.

Jeremy Jordan Weintraub of London is facing one count each of robbery, wearing a disguise while committing an offence, carrying a concealed weapon and using an imitation firearm while committing an indictable offence.

The charges stem from an incident on April 11 at the London Medical Pharmacy at 113-135 Adelaide Street North.

Police say the store was robbed by a masked man, reportedly carrying a firearm. There were no injuries but a quantity of drugs was stolen.

Following an investigation, police executed two search warrants on Tuesday and Weintraub was subsequently charged, however the stolen property was not found.
