The Special Investigations Unit (SIU) is looking into an incident in which an Otterville man was injured during an arrest Saturday.
Oxford OPP responded to a disturbance on Otterville Road in Springford about 8:30 a.m.
They say a 42-year-old Otterville man was arrested at the scene. During the arrest the male became uncooperative and was restrained by officers. The accused complained of injuries and was transported to an area hospital where he is being treated for non-life threatening injuries.
The male remains in custody in hospital and is facing charges.
The OPP contacted the SIU, which is investigating.
