Firefighters are still on the scene Sunday of a "stubborn" blaze in Rodney that has destroyed a house.
Emergency personnel, including the West Elgin-Rodney fire department, were called to Harper Street at about 5:30 a.m. and the fire is still active, says Elgin OPP Sgt. Aaron McClure.
Nobody was home when the fire started and there are no injuries, but McClure says the house has been destroyed.
The cause of the fire is not known at this time and is under investigation.
