Ready or not, here it comes.

On Thursday afternoon, Environment Canada issued a snow squall warning for London-Middlesex, Elgin, Oxford, Lambton, Huron, Perth, Grey and Bruce Counties.

Squalls will start ate Thursday afternoon and into the evening as a cold front moves over the area and brisk west to northwest winds develop over Lake Huron.

Residents can expect near zero visibility in the vicinity of the cold front.

Snowfall amounts of 10 to 15 cm is expected by Friday morning, with additional amounts of 10 to 20 centimetres on Friday in the strongest snow squall areas.

Motorists are urged to use extreme caution while driving.
