Norfolk County OPP are investigating after a pair of shoes were stolen from the feet of a passenger waiting in a vehicle at a restaurant drive thru.

Police were called to a McDonald's location on Queensway East in Simcoe around 1 a.m. Thursday to investigate the theft.

Investigators say the passenger had his feet hanging out of the passenger side window when a male allegedly approached the vehicle, removed both shoes and then fled on foot.

The suspect reportedly fled northbound and was last seen running behind a car wash northwest of the McDonald's.

He is described as a white male, 18-20 years old with dirty blonde hair and a pock-marked face. He was wearing a grey long-sleeved shirt, khaki pants and a blue hat on backwards.

The shoes are described as grey, size 12 Sanuk shoes.
