Thieves may have just wanted some authentic costume party duds or they may have a more sinister plan in mind.

Overnight on Thursday, police and firefighter uniforms were stolen from a London dry cleaning business.

The lot consisted of shirts, pants, jackets and shoulder flashes belonging to the London Police Service, London Police Auxiliary, Western University Campus Community Police Service and the London Fire Department.

Police continue to investigate and are asking anyone with information to contact them. They also say that if anyone is concerned someone is impersonating a police officer, ask to see police-issued identification.
