Officials say nobody was injured after an incident involving pressurized waste drums at the Woodstock Toyota plant Tuesday afternoon.

Officials said the lids of the drums popped off in the paint shop and employees were evacuated from the area. They were then sent home.

The next shift of workers starting at 5:45 p.m. were to report to work.

The incident brought police, firefighters and paramedics to the plant.

Around 4 p.m., people in the area saw little evidence of the emergency response, while work continued in other parts of the plant.

A plant official said they are investigating the cause and every precaution is being taken to keep workers safe.
