The London Food Bank is looking for one last push from the community to help provide for those less fortunate.

Although, the Thanksgiving Food Drive has seen above normal donations so far this year, the demand is also up.

"We seem to be up just a little bit over last year which is fantastic, about 5000 lbs over last year," says Mary Ann McDowell, Operation Co-coordinator of the Food Bank.

"This year we are seeing our numbers are about 600 families over month more than last year...we were seeing 3000 families (in 2012) and now we're seeing 3600 families and that's a significant increase.

Residents are being encouraged to visit London fire halls where donation boxes will be available throughout the holiday long weekend.
