The city has granted the Rock the Park Music Festival an exemption that will allow it to run for five nights.
The annual concert has raised more than $2 million for the Bethany's Hope Foundation.
This year's concert was scheduled to run from Tuesday, July 14 to Saturday, July 18, taking the Friday night off.
Organizers had been hoping to extend the event to five nights - to include Friday - but city noise bylaws prevented it.
On Tuesday though a committee agreed to recommend an exemption, allowing the fifth night.
Officials expected adding the Friday night could raise another $75,000.
