A London man is facing charges in connection with a protest outside city hall last Wednesday.

The protest on Nov. 5 caused about $1,000 in damage and led to three arrests that night.

Now, London police say 22-year-old Cameron Lavin has been charged with obstructing a peace officer and wearing a disguise under the Criminal Code.

Investigators are thanking the public for their assistance, adding that photos and video recordings of the incident on social media have played a key role in identifying the suspect.
