Elgin County OPP have laid charges following a fatal motorcycle crash last month.
On Sept. 18, police were called to Richmond Road and Vienna Line around 8:30 p.m.
Police say a northbound Honda motorcycle was struck by a Chrysler van.
The driver of the motorcycle, John Masales, 41, of Malahide Township, was pronounced dead at the scene.
A passenger on the bike, an unidentified 37-year-old Malahide Township man was taken to hospital in serious condition.
The 18-year-old woman driving the van as well as her three teenage passengers suffered non-life threatening injuries in the crash.
She is now facing charges of failing to yield to traffic on through highway and class G1 license holder unaccompanied by qualified driver.
