A Tillsonburg man has been charged following a weekend crash in Norfolk in which a woman died.
Emergency personnel from Norfolk, Oxford and Elgin counties responded to the two-vehicle collision about 7:40 p.m. Saturday.
Police say a Pontiac van was heading south on the Highway 19 at Middleton and a Toyota pickup truck was travelling north when the two collided.
The driver of the van, Maria Reddecopp, 54, of Bayham was pronounced deceased at the scene.
An 18-year-old passenger in the vehicle suffered serious non- life threatening injuries and was taken to a local area hospital and then transported to a London hospital for treatment. The driver of the pick-up truck received minor injuries.
Ryan Cole Daniels, 26, is charged with impaired driving causing death and bodily harm and driving over the legal limit.
