An 80-year-old woman has been charged after crashing into the front of the Boston Pizza in downtown Tillsonburg.
Oxford County OPP were called to the scene on Broadway St. around 1:40 p.m. on Saturday for a single-vehicle crash.
Investigators say the vehicle was pulling into a parking space when it accelerated, jumped the curb, crossed the sidewalk and struck a portion of the front of the building.
The building damages were moderate and a building inspector was called in to assess the structure.
The female driver of the vehicle, Valerie Lambert of Norfolk, was transported to hospital as a precaution.
Part of the Boston Pizza had to be cordoned off, but fortunately no injuries were reported.
Lambert has been charged with careless driving.
