Officials at an automotive plan in Ingersoll have announced plans to hire up to 120 additional workers in coming weeks.

That's after the Cami Automotive plant -- which makes the Chevy Equinox and GMC Terrain crossover -- hired roughly 100 people earlier this month.

A spokesman for the union that represents workers at the plant says it's great news for the entire community.

The plant currently employs around 3,100 people.
