Officials at Bruce Power released more information Tuesday about planned maintenance next year that some fear could affect Ontario's power supply.

All four reactors at Bruce Power's nuclear station "B" will be off-line for about a month.

The planned power outage is expected to begin in mid-April.

A similar maintenance program will take place at the same time at the Darlington Nuclear plant.

Bruce Power says it will work closely with the province to make sure the disruption won't have an impact on Ontario's power needs.

It adds that outages are approved just before they begin and the spring and fall are typically when demands are low.

Bruce Power says it expects all eight of its reactors to be back on-line in time for peak demands in the summer.
