Bruce County OPP are investigating an attempted murder on the Saugeen First Nation.
Police say around 9:30 p.m. Friday, officers responded to a residence along Scotch Settlement Road after receiving a call about an assault with a weapon.
A 19-year-old Saugeen First Nation man was found at the scene and was taken to hospital to be treated for life threatening injuries.
He remains in critical condition.
A 20-year-old Saugeen First Nation man has been arrested and remains in custody pending a show cause hearing scheduled for Sunday.
