It’s the long weekend and a downtown bar has lost its liquor licence.
The Grinning Gator on Richmond Street, formerly known as Friday Knight Lights, will not be able to serve liquor from 11 a.m. on Sunday through to 2 a.m. on Tuesday.
The Alcohol and Gaming Commission handed the bar its decision earlier this week.
The notice states that a proposal to suspend the licence for two weeks was made last October, but was amended on Tuesday.
