A combination of warm weather and store savings brought out the crowds in London for Black Friday.

Hundreds of people were seen lined up at the south London Best Buy and the White Oaks Mall Walmart.

A shopper at the front of the line at Best Buy told CTV News he arrived around 3 a.m.

By the time the store opened at 6 a.m. the line stretched around the corner of the store towards the back. The big draw this year was a door crasher deal on 55’’ television sets.

Store employees reported no issues as the crowd moved into the store.

Retail analysts are predicting a significant increase in Black Friday and Cyber Monday sales this year.

Rob Cameron, chief product and marketing officer of processing payments firm Moneris, said there has been an increase in sales on both days for the last four years adding retail sales are up around six per cent this year.

"I think this Black Friday ... we would anticipate it being a larger increase than last year, so we tell retailers to be ready for more sales," said Cameron.

He added that e-commerce retailers are also expecting strong sales and experts predict a surge in online transactions.
