A man and a woman have been charged, after three female escorts were robbed over the weekend.
According to London police, two robberies were reported on Sunday and another on Monday. Investigators say each woman attended a different address after receiving a call in response to their ads posted on a website.
One woman suffered minor injuries.
The accused, both of London, were arrested on Wednesday and charged with robbery, armed robbery, assault with a weapon, weapons dangerous, and uttering threats to cause death or bodily harm.
One accused is also charged with an additional count of uttering threats to cause death or bodily harm and possess prohibited weapon.
The investigation is ongoing.
